Although we highly recommend staying at Four Seasons or Condesa DF, CDMX is also full of other great hotels and incredible AirBnb’s! If you decide to go this route, please look in the Roma or Condesa neighborhoods.

10/10. We highly recommend, if theres a line we promise it’s more than worth it! Make sure to get the guava pastry. Their proper sit-down restaurant is just across the street, reservation ahead of time is needed, and its also incredible.
Roma
Alex’s favorite — must get the tuna tostadas and the fish tacos al pastor! We highly recommend making reservations a few months in advance. If they are full, try their sister restaurant Entremar, it’s the same menu with an even better view!
Condesa
If you need a break from all the tacos, they have the best steak frites and martinis in CDMX. We highly recommend making reservations in advance. Also, if you happen to go to our favorite coffee cart right outside, make sure to grab an espresso tonic!
Roma
The freshest ceviche and CDMX locals go-to hangover cure. No reservations, first come first serve only.
Roma
Oaxacan cuisine that you’ll be thinking about forever … We promise! We highly recommend making reservations in advance.
Polanco
Our new favorite taco place. Their ribeye steak taco and picaña trompo taco are amazing and worth the detour outside of Roma.
Lomas de Chapultepec
A must if you love chilaquiles and fresh squeezed OJ as much as we do.

They make the best Cortado we’ve had in CDMX, and the service is incredible. Great place to buy some souvenirs for your favorite coffee lovers back home.

John and I once had 3 Espresso Tonics each in one day from this spot and almost went back for a 4th. A must if staying or visiting in Polanco.
Polanco
Being named after my honey isn’t the only reason this made it on the list. They source exciting coffee from mountainous regions of Mexico and pull fantastic espresso.
La Condesa
Coffee cart perma-parked outside the restaurant Martinez. This is one of those places that has a graceful ease, time after time their drinks never disappoint.
